The tobacco debris removal system is applied in suitable sections of the reconstituted tobacco production line and the leaf-stripping & re-drying line, effectively eliminating impurities from tobacco leaves (or stems) with exceptionally high efficiency and precision, thereby enhancing the quality of products on both the reconstituted tobacco and leaf-stripping & re-drying lines.
● Technical Principle:
The tobacco impurity removal system consists of four key components: the material conveying system, the video cabinet, the recovery bin, and the electrical control system. These four parts work in seamless coordination to identify and remove unwanted materials from tobacco leaves (or stems), while simultaneously recovering the clean tobacco for reuse. The material conveying system handles the transportation and secondary acceleration of the material, creating a high-speed, thin layer of tobacco leaves (or stems). Meanwhile, the stable airflow system ensures that the tobacco leaves—or stems—move smoothly through the detection and removal zones within the video cabinet. Inside the video cabinet, a high-intensity, high-color-rendering lighting system illuminates the tobacco leaves, allowing a line-array CCD camera to capture real-time images. These images are then sent to a digital processing unit, where advanced image analysis identifies impurities and precisely calculates their coordinates. Finally, high-speed, high-flow pneumatic electromagnetic ejection valves are activated to swiftly and accurately dislodge the detected contaminants. Meanwhile, the recovery bin provides ample space for the material flow, enabling the stable airflow to decelerate as it passes through the sealed belt channel. From there, the cleaned tobacco is discharged via the top outlet directly into the factory’s dust collection system—while ensuring that the high-quality tobacco leaves continue unimpeded to the next stage of processing.
